Vimal said that Singaravelan had cheated and threatened the producer of the 'Vilangu' web series, in which he acted in the lead role, for money.

While the culprit has been arrested, the injured police officer has been getting treated at a hospital. Chief Minister MK Stalin has called the cop and consoled her. 

The police had said that though the girl had named the 12-year-old boy, the officials are investigating whether anyone else was involved in the crime.

The investigation has been done from an angle that he had committed suicide and the officials are probing the matter based on the engineer's last video. 

Following the shocking incident, he was arrested and later the police had released him on bail by giving him a staunch warning. 

Hours after she aired her tweet about the shocking conduct by the police officer, Tamil Nadu Police DGP Sylendra Babu had extended his apology to the woman.

The incident has happened in the Trichy district and the local police department has launched a probe into the death.

The police have apprehended the accused teacher and a case has been registered against him under POCSO Act. 

Earlier as per Sylendra Babu's order, the Tamil Nadu police has carried out its first operation to curb the drugs and gutkha for a month from December 2021 to January 2022.

When the weirdest incident has come to light, the police had arrested the teacher and booked her under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.
