A BJP leader in Tamil Nadu has invited trouble after staging a big drama that assailants had set his car on fire, which later came to the revelation that he was the one who set fire to his car. Following the shocking incident, he was arrested and later the police had released him on bail by giving him a staunch warning.
According to our sources, Sathishkumar is a resident of Maduravoyal on the outskirts of Chennai and he is serving as the BJP's district secretary in the Tiruvallur west district. Recently, he had approached the police station with the complaint that his car was set on fire. The visuals from the site had shown that a man and a woman were setting the car ablaze.
Based on the complaint, the police had launched a probe and secured the CCTV videos from the area. After sifting the evidence, it appeared that Sathishkumar was standing near his car during the incident and after investigation, Sathishkumar had admitted that he was the one who set fire to his car. The police were shocked to know that the complainant has become the culprit as Sathishkumar's drama had turned against him.
Our sources say that he had decided to set fire to his car after his wife had urged him to sell the car and buy jewels for her from the money. As Sathishkumar didn't want to sell his car, he had decided to stage a drama that someone had fired his car. The police had arrested him and later, they released him on bail with a warning.
