Little do they realize that this quest will awaken an ancient feud between two formidable adversaries: Chandramukhi, the classical dancer, and Vettaiyan Raja, dating back centuries.

The film also features Nimisha Sajayan, Shine Tom Chacko, Sathyan, Aravind Akash, Ilavarasu, and  Bava Chelladurai in pivotal roles.

The film also features a stellar supporting cast, including Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Vadivelu, Raadhika, Subiksha, Suresh Menon, Ravi Mariya, and Vignesh, who adds more value to the film.

"I am not the one who gets possessed by Chandramukhi. That’s the difference. My character will reveal why she became a ghost in the first place,"

He said that he and nearly 150 technicians searched frantically for the film shots for four days, before they finally managed to recover them.

Raghava Lawrence as the protagonist, who plays the lead along with Kangana Ranaut who will play the titular and famous Chandramukhi dancer, who is possessed as a vengeful spirit.

Set in 1975, the teaser showcases the retro style, vintage cars, colourful costumes, and catchy dialogues that will transport the audience to a different era.

The movie was scheduled to hit the screens on September 15, but unfortunately, due to some unexpected technical glitches, the release date has been rescheduled.

The song Swagathaanjali is a tribute to Chandramukhi, who is welcomed by Vettaiyan and his courtiers with admiration and awe.

The trailer also gives glimpses of the songs and dance sequences that are expected to be a highlight of the movie.
