Chandramukhi 2: "Take a peep into the House of Chandramukhi"... Makers drop the teasing video

The wait is over for the fans of the horror-comedy genre, as the much-awaited sequel to the 2005 blockbuster Chandramukhi is all set to hit the screens on September 28. Chandramukhi 2, starring Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, Vadivelu, Raadhika, and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles, promises to be a thrilling and hilarious ride for the audience.

The film is directed by P.Vasu, who helmed the original film, and produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions. The makers of Chandramukhi 2 have released a new promotional video to create some buzz for the film, which is planned to be released in multiple languages. Taking to X, Lyca Productions wrote, "Take a peep into the House of Chandramukhi. Here is a new thrilling Special Exhibition of #Chandramukhi2  in cinemas near you from September 28. "

The video showcases the star cast and the crew of the film, along with some glimpses of the spooky and funny scenes from the movie. The video also features the music composed by M M Keeravaani, who has scored the tunes for the film, and the cinematography by R D Rajasekar. 

The film crew also has the editor Anthony and the art director Thota Tharrani.  Chandramukhi 2 is a sequel to the 2005 film Chandramukhi, which was a remake of the Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. The first film starred Rajinikanth, Jyothika, Prabhu, Nayanthara, and Vadivelu in the lead roles, and was a huge success at the box office.

The film revolved around a haunted mansion and a woman who suffers from a split personality disorder. The film was praised for its blend of horror and comedy, and its performances, especially by Rajinikanth and Jyothika.

Chandramukhi 2 will feature Raghava Lawrence as the protagonist, who plays the lead along with Kangana Ranaut who will play the titular and famous Chandramukhi dancer, who is possessed as a vengeful spirit. Vadivelu will reprise his role as the comic relief, while Raadhika and Mahima Nambiar will play supporting roles. The film is expected to have a similar plot as the original, but with some twists and turns.

Chandramukhi 2 is one of the most anticipated films of the year, and the fans are eagerly waiting to watch it on the big screen. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, and will have a grand release across the country.
