On Friday, the state Director General of Police (DGP) has issued a circular in which it has been stated that the seized vehicles will be released from the custody.
Before switching on to the rapid testing kits, Tamil Nadu had been testing the patients through PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test which would take more than five hours to deliver the results.
The incident happened on Wednesday in the vicinity of Kabisthalam in Thanjavur where they sat close to each other by breaking the chain of social distancing.
