The film, which will see the return of the duo, is said to begin shooting from September, 2023. An official confirmation on the same is however awaited.

As per the makers' announcement, the film's shooting has officially begun on Monday and the update was shared on social media.

As the case has been taking twists and turns, the Chennai Police Commissioner has spoken about the case on Saturday, two days after Arya had visited the commissioner's office.

Following the arrest, they began further proceedings and Arya took to social media earlier and thanked the police commissioner for arresting the real culprits. 

Arya was last seen in a blockbuster movie 'Sarpatta Parambarai' that was directly released on Amazon Prime on July 22, 2021.
