The script work are currently in progress, and the makers are planning to rope in some of the best technicians and artists for the film.

The film is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

 The film’s poojs launch ceremony was held earlier this month, and the shooting is expected to begin soon.

"Don’t get me wrong, I am speaking from my heart. All I mean to say is that if those films had better content, they would do even better.”

The film is expected to be a grand spectacle with a rich historical backdrop and a gripping storyline.

"It’s disrespectful to say that we are each other’s competition. I’d request our fans not to compare.”

She had also composed music for few films and won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 2000 for the film Bharathi.

The poster shows the actor as Udhiran, a powerful and merciless ruler, who has his foot firmly on the land.

Her last work was settled with the song Pannapurathu from Mamanithan, starring Vijay Sethupathi, directed by Seenu Ramasamy, and released in 2022. 

Kamal Haasan is also to be seen in director Nag Ashwin's mega-budget sci-fi film ‘Kalki 2898AD’, starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
