Ajith Kumar, is all set to pair up with Tabu in his upcoming film AK 63. The film, which is tentatively titled AK 63, is directed by Adhik Ravichandran, who previously helmed the blockbuster Mark Antony. Ajith and Tabu have a history of working together in the classic romantic drama Kandukondein Kandukondein, which released in 2000.
The film, which also starred Mammootty, Aishwarya Rai and Abbas, was a huge hit and showcased the sizzling chemistry between Ajith and Tabu. The fans of the duo have been eagerly waiting for their onscreen reunion, and their wish has finally come true after 24 years.
AK 63 is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, who are known for their big-budget films in Telugu cinema, especially Pushpa the Rise. The film’s poojs launch ceremony was held earlier this month, and the shooting is expected to begin soon. The film boasts of a star-studded cast, which includes SJ Suryah, and Arvind Swamy. The music is said to be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who have previously collaborated with Ajith in Veeram.
SJ Suryah, who played the lead role in Mark Antony, will be seen in a prominent role in AK 63, while Arvind Swamy is expected to play the villain. Ajith is currently busy with his film 'Vidaa Muyarchi', where the shooting is held in Azerbaijan. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film have Ajith, Arjun Das, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, Arun Vijay, Arjun Sarja and Arav in pivotal roles and the film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
