This is the third collaboration between Vijay and producer Lalit Kumar after 'Master',  'Varisu' and now 'Thalapathy 67'.

The filmmaker had stated that the official announcement for the film will take place on February 1st, 2nd, or 3rd while attending a promotional event for Sundeep Kishan's Michael.

Meanwhile production on "Thalapathy 67" reportedly began with a Muhurtha ceremony in December 2022, though stills from the ceremony have not been made public.

The cameo appearances of Kamal Hassan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vikram are anticipated to be as memorable as Rolex in Vikram.

And by next month the crew will shoot some scenes in Kashmir where the Bollywood veteran star Sanjay Dutt will join, and it's the first time for the filmmaker to cross the borders for his film.

Vikram's ending of the film has Amar, a hardened government spy, surrender his allegiance in order to seek bloody revenge of his wife.

In an recent public event, Lalith Kumar of Seven Screen Studios, who bankrolling the Vijay's next Thalapathy 67 addressed the media and confirmed that the official update regarding the film

Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is working on the next film with Vijay, was spotted at the FDFS show, and the paparazzi seized the chance to inquire him about Thalapathy 67.

The shooting took off on the floors in January after launching pooja ceremony in December last year

If all goes by the strong murmurings, we might get to see him co-starring with Ulaganayagan in his upcoming exciting film series.
