Viral Buzz: Lokesh Cinematic Universe is getting big...This veteran Tamil actor to join Thalapathy67!

Suriya's brief appearance in Kamal Hassan and Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram sparked a lot of buzz before the film's release. The film's success can be attributed in large part to the strength of the Rolex character. Now in surprise, the recent rumours have it that Chiyaan Vikram was the original actor to portray this role, as  Vikram was rumoured to have been Lokesh's first choice for the role of Rolex, but the actor couldn't do due to unknown reasons.

Now the strong speculating murmurings has that the actor finally gave a nod to join the universe by taking part in the director's next project Thalapathy67, which will be a powerful antagonist role. The upcoming biggies has Vijay, Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Sanjay Dutt and others. Anirudh will compose the musical tracks where the script will be taken care of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rathnakumar of Gulu Gulu, Aadai, and Meyadha Maan fame.

A popular filmbuff took to Twitter and shared, "According to the latest rumours, #ChiyaanVikram is expected to play the lead antagonist in #Thalapathy67. #ChiyaanVikram's character will be introduced to the "Lokesh Cinematic Universe" on this #Thalapathy67, just like how #Suriya’s #Rolex was introduced in #Vikram (2022)." Vikram was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 1 by Manirathnam and if this buzz came to be true, he will be once again share screen space with Trisha after the historical epic.

It has been said that the latter given away 30 days of his schedule for the movie. Several sources earlier claimed that the director also approached actor Dhruv Vikram for the film Thalapathy67, while others claim that he approached actor Vikram for the films Vikram 2 and a solo project. No word yet on whether Vikram or Dhruv will get more screen time in the highly anticipated movie.

The cast and crew of Thalapathy67 are currently filming in the Kodaikanal area, where a viral photo of choreographer Sandy from the set has gone viral. The cameo appearances of Kamal Hassan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vikram are anticipated to be as memorable as Rolex's were in Vikram. However the clock is ticking for the proper announcement from the makers side, which is presumably be out on January 26th.
