November is here and the Kollywood is gearing up for its biggest month yet, with a huge number of movies releasing on OTT giants.

The first installment of Ponniyin Selvan, crowned as a maverick film of Kollywood, opened to favorable reviews and raked in more than Rs 500 crore at the box office.

The first single, titled 'Ranjithame', has a classy unveiling by the makers. Interestingly, the song was sung by actor Vijay himself.

The movie is directed by debutant R Kaiser Anand and is produced and presented by prominent director Vetrimaaran under his banner Grassroot Film Company. 

Jai Bhim got released on November 2 last year on Amazon Prime Video and set a great breakthrough for Suriya and for the entire cast. 

Iconic thespian Mammootty has rich experience working in Tamil cinema and a remarkable fanbase. The 71-year-old versatile actor's last Tamil movie was 'Peranbu', helmed by Ram in 2019.

On Thursday, the production house took to Twitter and released a new poster to make an announcement about the promo release.

The film has already got released in theaters, making it a favorite entertainer amongst his fans. Helmed by Anudeep KV, Prince hit the screens on October 21, featuring as this year's Diwali release.

With a budget of 500 crores in making two parts of this epic periodic drama, the second part of 'Ponniyin Selvan' is expected to hit the big screens in the early half of 2023.
