In what has become a relishing piece of news for the ardent fans of actor Vijay, the makers of Varisu have unveiled a big announcement on Thursday, which has been going viral. Varisu is Vijay's upcoming flick that has been slated for a theatrical release during Pongal 2023.
As per the announcement, the promo of the first single will be released at 6.30 pm on Thursday - November 3. The movie wrapped up shooting on October 27 and Vijay will soon move for his 67th film, as per media reports. Varisu is outlined as a family entertainer and will be filled with romance, comedy, action, sentiment, and emotions.
The makers of the film have planned to take off their promotional campaign in a big way. As the first leg, the makers officially confirmed the first single promo release by sharing the update on their social media handles. Varisu is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. On Thursday, the production house took to Twitter and released a new poster to make an announcement about the promo release.
It wrote, "The much-awaited #VarisuFirstSingle promo is releasing today at 6.30 pm. Stay tuned nanba." Varisu is directed by Vamshi Paidipally while the music is composed by Thaman, who is collaborating with Vijay for the first time. As Varisu is marching towards the release, it will most likely clash with Ajith's Thunivu during Pongal 2023.
Alongside Thalapathy, Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in the movie. In supporting roles, the film also stars Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, R. Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, Yogi Babu, Srikanth, Shaam, and Shivaji Guruvayoor; Mahesh Babu also makes a brief cameo appearance.
