It was a bolt from the blue moment for Edappadi Palaniswami and when Sasikala arrived at the hospital, Palaniswami, and the leaders who accompanied him, had hurriedly gone from the hospital.

Sasikala has revealed her plan of how she is structuring to make a political resurgence amid barricades put up the current leaders.

Shanmugam had served as the Minister for Law and Prisons in Edappadi Palaniswami's cabinet in the previous ADMK regime.

Nearly three weeks after filing the complaint, the Roshanai police have on Tuesday booked a case against Sasikala and 500 unidentified persons.

The party members of ADMK's North Tuticorin district had adopted a resolution on Sunday by stating that Sasikala must continue to be the party's General Secretary. 

Edappadi Palaniswami and Panneerselvam are displaying their prowess in controlling the party by expelling the cadres who are on the other end of Sasikala's phone call. 

These developments have shown that the ADMK is struggling to find a face and successor for Jayalalithaa and even after four years of her demise, the party is carrying a banner of 'Leader Wanted'. 

The audio clip has been going viral as it has come a day after the mass firing at the ADMK as Palaniswami and Panneerselvam had fired 17 members including a former ADMK minister.

Through expelling 16 leaders, the ADMK leaders had admitted that Sasikala had spoken with the party members.

Besides asserting that Sasikala will never be allowed to enter the party, Shanmugam has gone to the next level and lodged a police complaint against her.
