Expelled ADMK's General Secretary VK Sasikala is seemingly all set for the political comeback and to take over the party from the current leadership. Pushing the current leaders Edappadi Palaniswami and Panneerselvam into more tests and trouble in enjoying the control of the party, Sasikala has revealed her plan of how she is structuring to make a political resurgence amid barricades put up the current leaders. 

Sasikala has been carrying out 'phone call' outreach for several weeks now during which she is directly speaking to the party functionaries of the ADMK and understanding their pulse and operations of the party under the current leadership. She has been assuring the functionaries that she will come to politics and set things straight in a scattered party. Sasikala's team has been releasing the audio clips of her phone calls. 

The audio clips had stirred large-scale furores in the party and the current leaders are countering Sasikala's attempt to enter politics by firing the functionaries, who spoke with her over the phone, from the party. The current leadership had fired over a dozen cadres from the party and directed the district secretaries of the party to pass resolutions against Sasikala. 

In her latest audio clip, Sasikala has revealed that she would start touring all the districts after the Covid lockdown is fully lifted. She was speaking with former ADMK MLAs Kamaraj and NG Parthiban during which she asserted that she would commence her tour after visiting the memorial of late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, whom Sasikala fondly calls as her elder sister. 

Sasikala said that she would take all sections of the ADMK with her and she had further claimed that she played a vital role in bringing the Janaki Ramachandran faction and the Jayalalithaa faction in the ADMK together after the death of party's founder MG Ramachandran in 1987.  She added that the present situation in the party is much easier and added that as a seasoned politician, she could not sit idle at home when the party is getting weakened. 

According to reports close to the developments, Sasikala has established a war room at her residence in T Nagar to speak with the ADMK cadres across the state. She has been speaking to the on-ground cadres since the party had faced a debacle in the recently-held state assembly polls. Sasikala's sister-in-law Illavarasi and her loyal aide Karthikeyan are coordinating her telephone calls and contacts with the ADMK functionaries. As Sasikala has revealed her plan over the political comeback, her supporters are awaiting to welcome her to politics and her entry will steal the sleep of current ADMK leaders.
