The sequel to PS Mithran's 'Sardar', which got released a week ago and received favourable reviews, was officially announced at a success meet on Tuesday.

Popular film critics and analysts wrote that the first half is 'well researched' and 'informative'. They said that the movie is very gripping and informative and Karthi scores big in the interval bang.

Karthi is portraying multi-characters as seen in trailer, by playing a double role. The film's trailer was released on night hours of Friday in a lavish event that was held in Chennai.
