Actor Suriya wrote, "Karthi's Viruman will be a wholesome family entertainer and we trust will be remembered for Long..! Special welcome to Aditi Shankar!! We need all your love!!!".

Karthi awaits the release of Viruman directed by Muthaiah. It will hit the theatres on August 12 and while Karthi plays the lead role, ace director Shankar's daughter Aditi Shankar plays the female lead.

The director spilled the beans in the Viruman press meet and the announcement is doing rounds on social media. 

The iconic Madurai was the epicentre of celebrations for Tamil cinema fans as the most admiring brothers of Kollywood -Suriya and Karthi were in the town.

Besides featuring the visuals of the making, it also had actor Karthi and the choreographer sharing their experience with the song. 

Veteran filmmaker Shankar's daughter Aditi makes her debut in the cinema industry through Viruman as she plays the female lead opposite Karthi.

The movie team has preponed the release and the update concerning the same was released on social media, which has now become a viral story. 

On Monday - July 4, the movie team has unveiled the character poster of actor Vikram, who will be playing the role of 'Aditya Karikalan'. 

Karthi has said that the revocation has become a historical victory for the peasants who incessantly protested against the laws.

The movie was released in 2010 and his admission has come after a decade and after the announcement that he is going to direct its sequence - Aayirathil Oruvan 2.
