The apparent compliment had shocked Edappadi Palaniswami as Thiagarajan has attacked the ADMK regime for the state's poor financial condition.

On Tuesday, Panneerselvam had kept his tale of hailing the DMK and he went on to say that his father is a big devotee of late DMK President Karunanidhi.

It must be noted that Edappadi Palaniswami was the one who introduced the 10.5% reservation quota for the Vanniyar community when he was serving as the Chief Minister. 

He was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from the Vellore constituency as an ADMK candidate in the 2014 general elections.

The police had launched the probe into the matter and the officials are also investigating any other reason behind the murder than providing tip-off about the racket.

ADMK leader Babu Murugavel has now issued a notice to the movie team by alleging that some of the scenes in the movie are inaccurate. 

However, there has been no potential progress in the probe and the previous government had poured several extensions to the deadline of the commission in completing the probe. 

Years after filing the case, the Karnataka High Court has now sought a report on the investigation into the FIR filed by the ACB against Sasikala.

The raids had immensely shocked the ADMK as the party has been facing back-to-back ordeals from all directions after a debacle in the assembly polls. 

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the ADMK leadership has formed a six-member legal committee to support the partymen in fighting the cases levied by the DMK.
