.  It is produced by Lyca Productions and marks the debut of Pradeep Ranganathan as a hero. Krithi Shetty, who made a splash with her debut film Uppena, plays the female lead.

Nayanthara is busy with films like ‘Test’ and ‘Mannangatti’. ‘Test’ is a thriller directed by Sashikanth, while ‘Mannangatti’ is a rural drama directed by Dude Vicky.

Meanwhile, the film's first look is said to be unveiled on February 14, on the occasion to the Valentine day.

The film features Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty and SJ Suryah in the lead roles. 

The film’s title, LIC, has sparked curiosity among fans, as it is also the acronym of the popular Life Insurance Corporation of India.

The title dispute has also drawn the attention earlier of another filmmaker, SS Kumaran, who claims that he had registered the title ‘LIC’ in 2015 for his own film.

The picture shows the couple having a wonderful time with their kids, who are wearing cute Santa caps and playing with some toys.

The film's technical team includes renowned cinematographer Ravi Varman and editor Pradeep E Ragav. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, known for backing Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo,' is helming the production.
