Director Vignesh Shivan, who has given hits like Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaathal, is back with a new film titled LIC (Love Insurance Corporation). The film, which was earlier shelved due to some reasons, has now been revived with a fresh cast and crew.

The pooja launch ceremony of LIC was held recently and the pictures of the event were shared on social media by the team. The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan, who made his debut as a director with Comali, in the lead role. Pradeep, who is a huge fan of Vignesh Shivan, expressed his gratitude and excitement to work with him in a heartfelt post on X.

He took to X, sharing the pictures from the event, "Love Insurance Corporation A new beginning , a big canvas , lot of dreams involved . Thanks for my audience who made this possible . Thankyou @anirudhofficial brother for doing #LIC . Bigg Fan .. Always wanted to work with you .. The female lead of LIC is Krithi Shetty, who lastly seen in Custody, directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film also features SJ Suryah, who played last in Karthik Subburaj's Jigarthanda Double X. The technical crew of LIC includes Ravi Varman, and Pradeep E Ragav as a editor. The film is produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, who backed Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo. LIC promises to be a fun-filled romantic comedy with a lot of dreams involved.
