Unfortunately, Chennai city ended in tears when a filmgoer fell off a lorry while celebrating the premiere of the Ajith-starring film Thunivu.

The iconic release has sparked euphoria across the state and shockingly, the celebrations went wrong and ended up in tragedy in some places. 

The dedicated fans gathered in front of a Chennai theatre on Pongal to watch their idol on silver screens.  Roused by the clamour of the crackers, they danced with embrace on the FDFS show on Wednesday.

As per reports, he lost balance and fell down from a truck while dancing ahead of the first show of the film.

The order has come as a shock to the fans and the theatres as the exhibitors have already planned to screen early morning shows to have a good fill in the coffers and to manage the influx of the fans.

The most recent social media sensation involves a special screening of Thunivu, which Shaalini, the actress wife of Ajith, attended with her daughter Anoushka.

Now that it's been moved up to Wednesday, fans of both films are celebrating, but the box office battle hasn't changed.

Now the trailer seems unstoppable by winning the fans' hearts, and it chairs the top trending list of YouTube.

Began with a power punch dialogue from the ultimate star, when Prem asks, "Aren't you ashamed to steal people's money?", and his short but power reply "No" grips in the start.

Also, the most recent rumour has it that the trailer for Ajith's Thunivu, will be shown in both Burj Khalifa and New York City's Times Square.
