Vijay's latest picture from Thalapathy 66, shared by Prakash Raj, has been going viral and the movie has targeted the release during Pongal 2023. 

AK 61 is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and while Ajith plays the lead role, Manju Warrier, John Kokken, and Veera play important roles.

Interestingly, AR Rahman has composed music for Cobra and the Oscar-winning composer has also shared the release date of the movie on Twitter.

On Wednesday, the team had celebrated the success of the movie by throwing a small private party.

It's Vijay's first outing with Telugu director Vamsi Paidipally, who is helming this project while popular producer Dil Raju takes charge of bankrolling it.
