The teaser of Kanguva was released in six languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and English and has garnered over 22 million views on YouTube within less than 24 hours of its release.

The first glimpse of Kanguva has hyped up the expectations of the fans and moviebuffs alike. The video  has already crossed over 22 million views on YouTube and has received rave reviews from all quarters within 24 hours.

The glimpse is expected to reveal the official release date along with a sneak peek of the film.

On Friday, they released the second look poster of Suriya from the film, which showed him riding on a horse, facing his tribe.

The film has been shot in various locations across India, including Chennai, Goa, Kerala and Kodaikanal.

The film is said to be produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, and reports had it that the film will be based on the true events, not a biopic. 

The film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and editing by Nishadh Yusuf.

One of the highlights of the video is Suriya driving a car with Diya beside him, and the video also captures Dev's birthday celebration in a cosy manner on foreign shores.

The shoot will happen for eight days in this set, which resembles a palace from the 17th century. After that, the team will move to Kodaikanal again for the period portions, which were earlier shot in Goa and Kerala.
