"The King arrives"... Makers of Suriya's next Kanguva drop the film's glimpse release date!

Suriya fans to rejoice at the most, as the versatile star is all set to treat  with a grand spectacle on his birthday. The makers of Kanguva have announced that they will unveil the ‘Glimpse of Kanguva’ on July 23rd, coinciding with Suriya’s 48th birthday.

The glimpse will give the audience a sneak peek into the world of Kanguva, where Suriya plays five different roles, each with a distinct personality and power. Taking to Twitter, Studio Green, bankrolling the epic, wrote by dropping a enticing top-notch poster of the actor, "Each scar carries a story! The King arrives  #GlimpseOfKanguva on 23rd of July!"

His upcoming film, titled Kanguva, is a period action drama that promises to be a visual extravaganza. The film, directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, will release in early 2024 in 10 languages, making it Suriya’s first pan-Indian venture. The film also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, who plays the female lead opposite Suriya.

Kanguva, which means ‘man with the power of fire’, is said to be the costliest film ever made by Studio Green. The film has been shot in various locations across India, including Chennai, Goa, Kerala and Kodaikanal. The film boasts of a stellar technical crew, including music director Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy and editor Nishadh Yusuf.

The film also features an ensemble cast of Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K. S. Ravikumar and B. S. Avinash in supporting roles. The film will also explore the themes of courage, loyalty, love and sacrifice in a historical setting.The film will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and five other languages in 2D as well as 3D formats.
