Sasikala announced her decision on Wednesday and said that she has decided to stay off from active politics with the view of establishing Jayalalithaa's golden rule in Tamil Nadu.
Sasikala had on Wednesday announced that she is quitting politics and said that her decision was with the view of forming a golden rule of Jayalalithaa in the state.
However, Sasikala has now said she completely quits politics and asserted that she will keep praying to God that Jayalalithaa's government will be formed.
The speculations had sparked fresh debates after Dhinakaran said that he is ready to ally in ADMK- BJP alliance with the condition that he has to lead the alliance.
On Wednesday, VK Sasikala had paid floral tribute to Jayalalithaa at her residence in T Nagar in the presence of his nephew TTV Dhinakaran and her supporters.
Dhinakaran said that Sasikala has said what he has been saying. He stated that all Jayalalithaa's supporters and cadres should stay united to stop DMK from taking power.
The 73rd birth anniversary of Jayalalithaa had stirred the clash between two factions on who really owns the legacy of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.
