The current reporting has been the highest single-day rise in the number of positive cases recorded by the state since the outbreak.

On Tuesday, the Greater Chennai Corporation has deployed a mobile testing unit to the Koyambedu market complex and started collecting the samples from traders.

The virtual meeting had lasted for three hours and was organized at the crucial time of penning the prefix of the decision on the lockdown extension.

The Ministry clarified that the operations of goods and parcel trains would be functioning normally with the view of transporting essential products. 

Last week, the Rajasthan government has alarmed the rest of the country and alerted the Indian government that the rapid testing kits are delivering inaccurate results.

The officials have traced 32 people from Valasaravakkam, Koyambedu, and Nerkundram areas and they have been kept under home quarantine.

The state has been going through the fluctuating graph of a rise and fall in the total number of cases while the government has been aiming to flatten the curve of COVID-19 affected cases.

The two fresh orders have been issued to deal and relax the financial stress and instability endured by the state in its fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. 

The major part of the meeting had gone through the discussions over reviving the ailing economy than to extend the lockdown. 

Despite no clarity on the audit, the Central government, including the Prime Minister, has been appealing to the people to donate to the fund to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
