The veteran actor had previously contracted Covid-19 in July 2020 along with his family members including his son Abhishek Bachchan.

All three have been accused of fabricating evidence in the Gujarat riots which happened in 2002 when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister.  

The Maharashtra police have been questioning a jailed gangster in this regard and the officials have brought the residence of the actor in Mumbai under the scanner. 

The development has come when Maharashtra has reinforced the mask mandate in the public places and added a thousand fresh Covid cases to its tally.  

It must be noted that four days ago, on May 27, the NCB has filed its charge sheet in the drug case in which Aryan Khan's name was not included. 

It is pertinent to note that Aryan Khan was arrested in the case by the NCB on October 3, 2021, and he was later released from jail later that month after being granted bail.
