In the press meet at Chennai, Rajinikanth announced that he has completed 80 per cent of the shooting for his upcoming film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel.

Currently, Vijay is busy with the shooting of Venkat Prabhu's upcoming movie, GOAT, where the current schedule is underway in Pondicherry.

The script work are currently in progress, and the makers are planning to rope in some of the best technicians and artists for the film.
