The Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to dazzle the fans with his 171st film, which the young and prowess Lokesh Kanagaraj will direct. The film, which is yet to be titled, will be produced by Sun Pictures, one of the leading production houses in the industry.

According to the latest reports, the film will be an action-packed entertainer with a fresh and unique storyline. And the director already revealed that the film will not be in LCU film series, and it will be a standalone. He also intrigued the fans even more by stating that the film will not be set in his usual premise including drug theme.

Rajinikanth, who is known for his massive style, will be seen in a never-seen-before role that will surprise and thrill the fans. The film's shooting will begin around summer in out-of-home land, which is being kept under wraps for now. It seems like the director will take off to a foreign country for the first time as he has so far finished shooting his films within the country.

The script work are currently in progress, and the makers are planning to rope in some of the best technicians and artists for the film. The film is expected to be released in late 2024 or early 2025, and the film's music is to be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Meanwhile, the Superstar starter Lal Salaam is coming to theatres on 9th February 2024, where he addressed the fans at the film's audio launch which is the viral talk of the town. The film directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, marks her first collaboration with her father. The music is composed by Isai Puyal AR Rahman. The film is to be led with the stars Vikranth, Vishnu Vishal, Senthil, Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, K. S. Ravikumar and Thambi Ramaiah.
