Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin has visited the constituency and toured various places to seek votes for the DMK backed Congress candidate EVKS Elangovan.
Erode East bypoll is just ten days away from now and as the political parties are counting days, the political bigshots in the state are crossing swords to win the race.
While MK Stalin would roll out his campaign in the Erode East constituency for a day, Udhayanidhi Stalin would be touring the constituency for three days.
The dissented BJP leader had also pledged that his supporters in the Erode East constituency will cast their votes to EVKS Elangovan, the candidate of the DMK alliance in the bypoll.
The battle for the Two leaves symbol had favoured EPS, thanks to his major numerical strength in the party that displayed a strong support for his leadership.
As we reported, the OPS faction has announced that it will withdraw its candidate Senthil Murugan and said that it will campaign for the ADMK's 'Two leaves' symbol, which will be secured by EPS.
