The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) has on Tuesday granted permission to the Indian pharma giant Cipla to import Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine for restricted emergency use in the country.
The ministry has unveiled a fact sheet to inculcate the frontline workers and vaccinators on counselling pregnant women about the importance of receiving vaccines.
According to reports, the Chennai Corporation has been carrying out the vaccination through 45 vaccination centres and 19 urban community health centres.
The agricultural hamlet has a population of 3,332 people and there were 2,334 people on the eligible list, excluding pregnant women and people who are under the age of 18.
