The visuals of hurling footwear on the vehicles of both the leaders on Sunday had been going viral on social media and it had happened when they were returning from the MGR memorial.

The party has declared that Panneerselvam and Edappadi Palaniswami were elected unopposed to the posts of coordinator and joint coordinator respectively. 

While VK Sasikala had assured her supporters that she will regain control, the ADMK had announced the elections to the leadership after the overhaul.

The current leaders had on Wednesday brought an overhaul to the party to retain their leadership amid a tussle between the senior leaders.

As Sasikala has played her turn, the party cadres are waiting for the play from EPS and OPS on their turn as the leadership crisis in the party deepens. 

EPS and OPS have astutely made the changes to the party's laws to retain their reign, though they still fight for winning the complete command behind the screen. 

Being a prominent leader from the minority community, Raajhaa had also served as the Chief of ADMK's Minority Wing.

The event has displayed the ongoing leadership crisis and the top leaders have only fueled it by their decision of completely removing Anwhar Raajhaa from the party.

C Vijayabaskar had served as the Tamil Nadu Minister for Health and Family Welfare during the previous ADMK regime led by Edappadi Palaniswami.

He had used his contact with Palaniswami when the latter was the Chief Minister and gave fake promises and cheated several people.
