The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja, Leo also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Babu Antony, Manobala and George Maryan in supporting roles.

The film is being made on a budget of ₹250–300 crore and is expected to be released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Leo is gearing up for a grand release on October 19, 2023.  The film has completed its shooting in 126 days and is currently in advance booking worldwide.
