The makers have obtained the permission and cooperation of Vijayakanth’s family and have used his old footage, photos, and voice samples to create a realistic and respectful portrayal of the actor.

Ashish Vidyarthi, Dhamu, Mayilsamy, and Janaki Sabesh added their brilliance in supporting roles.

Vadivelu and Vijay have worked together in several films, such as Friends, Vaseegara,  Bagavathi, Madura, Sachein, Pokkiri, Villu, Sura and Kaavalan, Mersal.

Rajinikanth, who went to Andhra Pradesh for shooting, has now returned to Chennai after completing the shoot where he met the reporters.

The duo is expected to create magic on the screen, as they are both masters of their craft and have a huge fan following.

Currently, Vijay is busy with the shooting of Venkat Prabhu's upcoming movie, GOAT, where the current schedule is underway in Pondicherry.

Many celebrities and politicians also congratulated Vijay for his bold decision, and wished him success in his new venture.
