Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The action-thriller, which is slated to release on October 19.  The shooting of Leo is in its final stages and the team has moved to Talakona district in Andhra Pradesh for a short schedule.

As soon as Vijay arrived in the town, he was greeted by a huge crowd of fans who were eager to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. Vijay came out of his caravan to meet and greet his fans and cheered them on. The video of this heartwarming moment has gone viral on social media and has shown the immense popularity of Vijay in Andhra Pradesh.

However, not everything was smooth for the Leo team as they faced some trouble from the local police. The police had to control the fans who surrounded Vijay for his safety and also for maintaining law and order. The film’s first single Naa Ready, which was released on Vijay’s birthday on June 22, has already become a chartbuster and a controversy magnet.

A social activist named RTI Selvam had lodged an online complaint for allegedly promoting drugs and rowdyism in the Naa Ready song, and urged the court to take action under the Narcotic Control Act. Despite these hurdles, the Leo team is determined to complete the shooting as per their plan and deliver a blockbuster film for the fans.

Leo is said to be a gangster drama that features Vijay as a ruthless don. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Trisha as the main antagonists. The film has an ensemble cast of Gautham Vasudev Menon, Action King Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand in supporting roles. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is produced by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy.

Leo is one of the most-awaited films of this year and is expected to set new records at the box office. The film will release in multiple languages across India and abroad. The fans are eagerly waiting for more updates from the Leo team and are hoping to see Vijay in a never-seen-before avatar.
