Watch: Sivakarthikeyan finally clears the air on joining Superstar Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 171!

The buzz around Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Thalaivar 171 is getting louder by the day. The film, which is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has been tentatively titled Thalaivar 171, as it marks the 171st film of the superstar. While the cast and crew of the film are yet to be officially announced, there have been rumours that Sivakarthikeyan, the rising star of Tamil cinema, will be playing a pivotal role in the film.

However, Sivakarthikeyan has responded to the reports and clarified that he has not been approached for the film yet. In a recent YouTube interview, the actor said that he was also surprised to see the news that he would be part of Thalaivar 171. He said that he has not received any offer to act in the film so far, but he would be more than happy to do so if he gets the chance.

Sivakarthikeyan, who is a huge fan of Rajinikanth, said that he would love to work with the legend even in a single scene, as he considers him his biggest inspiration in cinema. He said that he has learned a lot from Rajinikanth’s films and he would be honoured to share the screen with him. He also expressed his excitement for Thalaivar 171 and said that he is looking forward to watching the film as a fan.

Thalaivar 171 is expected to be a mass entertainer with a lot of action and drama. This long-awaited project, which has been in tight-lipped for some time, is finally coming to fruition under the banner of Sun Pictures. The action scenes in Thalaivar 171 will be choreographed by Anbariv, composed by Anirudh and Thalaivar 171 is expected to go on floors soon and be released in 2024.
