Watch: Actor Vijay pays respect to late actor Puneeth Rajkumar at his memorial!

Actor Vijay has on Saturday paid his respects to late Sandalwood superstar Puneeth Rajkumar who died last October due to cardiac arrest. Puneeth Rajkumar who was fondly called Appu was demised at the age of 46 in Bengaluru and his untimely demise had anguished the Indian movie industry. Following his demise, several stars and fans have been visiting his memorial in the city to pay their respects.

In line with that, actor Vijay has for the first time since Rajkumar's demise had visited the latter's memorial and paid his respect. Vijay was surrounded by his fans as he came to the memorial at Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru. The visuals have been going viral and Vijay can be seen paying respects and offering moksha deepam to the late actor.  

Puneeth Rajkumar, the son of legendary actor Rajkumar, had passed away on October 29, 2021. He suffered a massive heart attack and he had breathed his last in some moments of being admitted at a hospital. Puneeth's final movie 'David' is inching towards the release and the teaser of the movie was released recently. 

Puneeth was survived by his wife and two daughters. He was laid to rest with full state honours in front of lakhs of fans and fraternities. On the other hand, actor Vijay is currently awaiting the release of his movie 'Beast', bankrolled by Sun Pictures and helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The movie is in the final stage and it has been expected that it will get released on April 14, 2022.
