After a blockbuster success of the movie 'Vikram', director Lokesh Kanagaraj is busy with his next big project with Vijay and the project has been titled 'Thalapathy 67'. While the movie team has been tight-lipped over the cast and crew, there have been several reports across the Kollywood over who joins the universe of Lokesh in his second unification with Vijay after 'Master'.
Now, the latest reports say that popular director Mysskin has been roped in to act in Thalapathy 67 and if it becomes official, it will be the first time that Vijay will be acting with Mysskin. Currently, Mysskin is busy with the project helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. It's already known that Vijay will play a tough gangster in his 67th movie and Mysskin is most likely to act as an antagonist.
Last month, director Lokesh Kanagaraj said that the makers of Thalapathy 67 will unveil the update in one or two months. Our sources say that Lokesh has approached director Mysskin about playing as a strong villain in Thalapathy 67 and Mysskin has responded favourably. It is expected that the information on cast and crew will be officially confirmed within weeks.
It is rumoured that Thalapathy 67 will be starred by Samantha, Trisha, Arjun, Gautham Menon, and Prithviraj among others. Sanjay Dutt, who has already established his reputation as a potent villain in KGF and Shamshera, will join Thalapathy 67.
Industry insiders assert that production on Vijay's Thalapathy 67 will begin at the end of 2022. According to reports, Lalit Kumar will produce the film through his firm Seven Screen Studios. Ratna Kumar will write the screenplay for this project, and Anirudh will compose the music.
