After the blockbuster 'Master' with Vijay and Lokesh, the audience is eagerly waiting for the next film of this deadly combo which is tentatively titled Thalapathy 67. As per the latest reports, director Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed that the updates about the movie will come in December this year and the shooting will begin during the same period. 

The director claimed that the reason for the delay in the update is Vijay's current schedule with Varisu, which will be getting released during Pongal 2023. Thalapathy 67, the most unmissable film of 2023 hopefully, has been making headlines ever since it was revealed.  In a recent chat with a well-known media outlet, the director admitted that the delay in Thalapathy 67's update was due to Vijay's 'Varisu' promotions gathering momentum and so it's lacking consistent updates for Thalapathy 67.

He has, however, stated that the update will undoubtedly be released in December. The official announcement of Thalapathy 67 may therefore occur by the first week of December, and it will be followed by back-to-back update delights for the fan base of both Lokesh and Vijay. Vijay will most likely play a 50-year-old gangster in Thalapathy 67 who will be squabbling with six bad guys, and Trisha will play Vijay's wife. Yet the official confirmation is still awaited. 

It is obvious that the partnership between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj was successful in Master, and for Thalapathy 67, Lokesh would enlist some of the legendary actors in the project, including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Meanwhile, Vijay's "Varisu," is set to hit theatres for Pongal 2023. The first single announcement will be made in the coming days. This movie, which is produced in a big way by Dil Raju, has music by Thaman and is helmed by Vamshi Paidipally.
