The fans of Thalapathy Vijay are in for a double treat as the star actor has not only revealed the name of his political party, but also shared a selfie video from the shooting spot of his upcoming film ‘The Greatest Of All Time’ (GOAT).

The actor, who had earlier stunned his fans with an epic selfie video in Neyveli, recently recreated the magic in Pondicherry while shooting for his upcoming movie. The video showcases Vijay in a suave and stylish avatar, flashing his infectious smile as he pans the camera to the massive crowd of devotees who had gathered outside the shooting location. The excitement of his fans is palpable as they cheer and hoot for their beloved star, who basks in their adulation.

Vijay, who is known for his mass appeal and charisma, took to social media to announce that he has named his party as  Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam, and that he will contest in the 2026 state assembly elections. He also thanked his supporters for their love and faith in him, and urged them to join his movement for a better Tamil Nadu.
