He also has spurred outrage in Telangana and across the nation and the Election Commission has asked the legislator to respond to his remarks. 

JP Nadda said, "The arrest of Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay is highly condemnable and amounts to the murder of democracy."

Responding to the jail comments from Bandi Sanjay, KCR said, "Sanjay said he will send me to jail. I dare him to touch me."

The body was found on a track in Telangana's Jangaon district and Telangana Director General of Police M Mahendar Reddy had confirmed the death of the accused.
