It seems that the veteran latter comprised the footage of both parts into a single version, which will be premiered at the IFFR under the Limelight category.

The film is expected to be a fantasy romance drama that explores the themes of love, reincarnation, and destiny.

The film marks Nivin Pauly’s third outing in Tamil after ‘Neram’ and ‘Richie’.

The festival is scheduled to take place from January 25 to February 4, 2024, marking a significant recognition for the film even before its theatrical debut.

The first film ended on a cliffhanger, leaving fans eager for the second part.  

Vijay Sethupathi will have a full-fledged role in the second part, while Soori’s character will have a lesser screen time.

They serve as an inspiration for fellow comedians, encouraging them to explore their own potential and venture into new genres and characters.
