Renowned director Ram has teamed up with Malayalam star Nivin Pauly for his next project that is as captivating as his previous projects. He has directed critically acclaimed movies like Kattrathu Tamizh, Thanga Meengal, Taramani, and Peranbu and now, he is directing Nivin Pauly for the movie and its title has been revealed on last year.

The latest and exciting update from Suresh Kamachi, the film's producer,  who took to Twitter and shared  a video of the actors reading their lines. The video also gave viewers a sneak peek at the film's script, which has piqued their interest due to its edgy and puzzling tone of their dialogues.

‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’, which translates to seven seas and seven hills, is rumored to be an epic love story between a fisherman and a woman. The film marks Nivin Pauly’s third outing in Tamil after ‘Neram’ and ‘Richie’. Anjali plays his love interest, while Soori provides comic relief. 

The motion poster video has a slight theme of never-ending love while also combining suspense. The shooting of the project commenced in Dhanushkodi and the team shot the final schedule in the train set erected in Chennai.  Stunt Silva has directed the stunt, Sandy Master has done choreography, and Umesh J. Kumar has taken care of production design/art.

The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by N.K. Ekhambaram and editing by Mathi VS. The film is expected to release later this year after participating in international film festivals. The makers had earlier released a motion poster of the film, which suggested that it could be a visual spectacle, unlike Ram’s previous films, which were known for their realistic and hard-hitting narratives.
