The film is co-produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape Of Good Films), Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment) and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment).

2D Entertainment, the production house behind these two films, took to X to express their gratitude and happiness for the recognition and love they have received from the viewers.

The script work is also in the works and the makers are planning to start the principal photography in the last quarter of next year," says a source.

Suriya has won the National Award for the best actor for the movie Soorarai Pottru and the honour was conferred by President Droupadi Murmu.  

As Suriya and Soorarai Pottru have made quintessential achievements, the actor has been flooded with wishes and commendations. 

Suriya, who played the lead role as Nedumaran in the movie, received the National Award for best actor for his spectacular performance.

Kongara is now decorating a prestigious National Award for her masterpiece Soorarai Pottru, which took more awards than any other movie in the recently announced 68th National Film Awards. 

Sudha Kongara is presently busy with the Hindi adaptation of 'Soorarai Potru' post-production works and she also confirmed a project with Hombale films.
