The incarceration for the godman has come after a stern manhunt against him as he was absconding ever since the allegations against him had come to light.
The CBCID team had then traced the tower location and rushed to Ghaziabad in Delhi. Based on the tracking, they reached a house of Baba's devotee, where the godman was hiding.
The godman has been arrested in Delhi and he will be brought to Chennai on Wednesday evening or on Thursday morning for investigation in connection with the sexual harassment allegations.
As the notice has been issued against Siva Sankar Baba, the probing team is affirmed that he can't be able to leave the country and the team is inching closer to arrest him.
The Tamil Nadu government has on Sunday transferred the case to CBCID (Crime Branch- Crime Investigation Department) with the reports that the godman could be residing out of the state.
