After the meeting, minister Thangam Tennarasu has announced that the Tamil Nadu government will boycott the tea party organized by the Governor. 

The meeting had the presence of the representations of several parties while the BJP and ADMK had boycotted the meeting. 

The announcement about his trip was made on Friday - February 4, a day ahead of the all-party meeting that has been convened by Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Chandru said that the decision from the Governor has disregarded the resolution of 230 MLAs who had supported the Bill, while four BJP MLAs had voted against it.

Annoyed by his action that has been alleged to be unconstitutional, the DMK leaders have been slamming the Governor for sending back the Bill. 

In the Lok Sabha, the MPs of the DMK alliance had on Thursday urged the Union government to withdraw the Governor from his post for violating his constitutional powers. 

ADMK had moved a complaint against the DMK for the irregularities in the rural local body polls and DMK's drive of conducting raids at the residences of former ADMK Ministers. 

Edappadi Palaniswami would be meeting the Governor in Raj Bhavan at around 11 am on Wednesday during which he would be holding talks with the head of the state as the opposition leader.

The President of India made an overhaul of the Governors during which Ravi, who was serving as the Governor of Nagaland, was transferred to Tamil Nadu.
