Marimuthu was also a popular face on the small screen serial Ethir Neechal. He was known for his natural and realistic acting style, which won him many fans and appreciation.

Marimuthu is survived by his wife and two children and he recently celebrated his 27th wedding anniversary on September 2nd. 

The actor, who was also a director and producer, suffered a cardiac arrest while dubbing for the popular serial Ethir Neechal. He was 52 years old.

He was last seen on the big screen in Jailer, which released in August this year. He was also part of the star-studded cast of Indian 2, the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian, directed by Shankar.

He then directed Pulivaal in 2014, a remake of the Malayalam film Chaappa Kurishu, starring Prasanna and Vimal. He debuted as a actor with Ajithkumar's Vaali in 1999.

He was 66 years old and had been suffering from a kidney ailment for some time.

Jaggu, or Jagatheeswaran as he is fondly known, graced the silver screen in the iconic movie 'Kadhal Azhivathillai' alongside Simbu, playing the role of the hero's trusted friend.

"At this time, I recalled his recent visit to and appreciation of the photo exhibition commemorating my 70th birthday ".

Manobala was a versatile artist who made a mark in Tamil cinema as an actor and director. He was a source of laughter and joy for many generations of viewers.

Manobala had also suffered from chest pain before and underwent an angio-treatment in January.
