After the tensions had escalated, senior ADMK leader D Jayakumar had maintained that Shanmugam's remarks are his personal and they don't have anything to do with ADMK.

Sasikala has revealed her plan of how she is structuring to make a political resurgence amid barricades put up the current leaders.

The appointment of Dhami has come with no surety that he would decorate the Chief Minister's seat with stability and BJP has to clear the cloud of crisis to face the assembly polls in the state. 

Taking to social media, the Central ruling party said, "The BJP will not allow Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the ruling Left to hunt down Surendran." 

It has further said that they had violated the party rules and indulged in activities that brought disrepute to the party.

On the other hand, the ADMK would pile up its troubles from addressing Sasikala's political comeback and accommodating the allied parties. 

Kamal Haasan has on Saturday unfolded an overhauling drive in his party by announcing new appointments for key positions and pouring more powers to him. 

With the dissent, he has decided to quit the party and join DMK and his entry would be crucial for DMK to establish the party's stronghold in the Kongu belt which is ADMK's citadel.

Edappadi Palaniswami and Panneerselvam are displaying their prowess in controlling the party by expelling the cadres who are on the other end of Sasikala's phone call. 

The functionaries had urged the leadership to take strict action against Raja and stop further erosion of the party in the Sivaganga district.
