Tamil Nadu would be ending the month of May with the highest rises in the cases since the outbreak amid the restrictions to flatten the curve of COVID-19 affected cases.

Apart from the containment zones, the rest of India will be having more relaxations and a gradual exit from the lockdown from June 8. 

By asserting that there are no grounds for the community transmission in Chennai, the experts asked the Chief Minister not to resume the road and rail transportations in the city.
