Our workplace is always special for us. From punching in for our work to signing off from our cabin, we always have and enjoy an integral and intimate bond with our workplace in some way or the other and for most, that bond would never get relinquished regardless of how hectic the work atmosphere would be.
For some, the workplaces would be filled with caring colleagues, artful cabins reflecting a pleasant prism of work. For some others, the workplaces would be full of depression and targets and the sound of a coffee machine, and the taste would pat them as their stress-buster.
While for others, their day wouldn't get fulfilled without hearing the sounds of time punching machines that warn them to punch properly, honking sounds, the sounds of much-busier telephones, and the noisy sounds of people who eat time and the printers which eat the papers or without the sounds of barking dogs and message notifications.
In the albeit of whichever posts you might be in whatever kind of workplaces, your ears must have either got annoyed to these sounds or become too close that you wish to hear more often which might be one of the reasons for turning back to offices. However, the lockdown and restrictions had put you far away from your workplaces.
For the past two months, most of us are working from home or staying off from our jobs. While the virtual platform has become a new normal, a project by a Swedish based Red pipe Studios and Familjen has developed a soundtrack and published through the new normal platform. Named as 'The Sound of Colleagues', this soundtrack has filled with unique sounds of what you have been hearing in office.
From the telephone tone, the bark of office dog, coffee machine, sounds of keyboards, printers, to the room tone and sounds of people which give you an effect as if you are back to your office. The combination of all sorts of workplaces would remedy the office-lovers with a close bond to have a rhythm of a good feel while waiting to get back to the office.
With having no surety on when will things get back to normalcy, let's relish on listening to these sounds, and let's recall all good memories that stay close to us in our workplace to have a good and perfect revival.
