In what has become a major admission, it has come a day ahead of the second phase of the eight-phased assembly polls in which her Nandigram constituency will go for voting.
However, the recent audio clip had sparked outrage and went against Mamata Banerjee at a high time when the polling has begun in a key battleground state.
Besides being the opposition party, Mamata had recently developed a strong feud with the Central ruling BJP after some of her legislators had switched side and joined BJP.
The Chief Minister said that she was injured after being attacked by some people during her campaign trail in Nandigram, the constituency where she will be contesting in the upcoming assembly polls.
While the TMC supporters claimed that the attack was plotted, the opposition parties in the state including BJP, Congress, and Communist had labeled the incident as 'drama'.
The anniversary had brought the ever heated rivals together on stage but eventually, it ended with the uproar from the West Bengal Chief Minister, who cut short her speech and shocked the Prime Minister.
Dhankhar said that he had sent his report to the Center and he reprimanded Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the worsening situation of law and order in the state.
"Bengal has descended into an era of tyranny, anarchy, and darkness under the Trinamool rule. The manner in which political violence has been institutionalized", Amit Shah tweeted.
